Mission of the Central IL Customer Service Association (CILCSA)
CILCSA is a non-profit 501(c)(6) entity that is committed to improving customer service in the organizations, businesses, and surrounding communities of Springfield, Illinois (Central Illinois). CILCSA believes that together, Central Illinois has a better chance of making a difference by leveraging and sharing each other’s experiences and successes to make our community the friendliest community in Illinois!

Michael Thomas, Board President
Express Employment Professionals
Michael Thomas was appointed as President to the non-profit’s Board of Directors on January 1, 2023.
“The mission of CILCSA resonates with me on a deeply personal level,” Thomas said. “I believe that great customer service is the key to growth in any community. CILCSA has been delivering quality customer service programs since 2015 and I look forward to leading our charge for the future.”
Thomas is the Business Relationship Manager for Express Employment Professionals in Springfield. He focuses his free time on community service, servicing organizations such as United Way and the Salvation Army. Michael and his wife Rachel reside in Springfield and have three children.
Thomas replaces outgoing President Lisa Nardi, who will remain on the CILCSA Board of Directors. “It has been an honor to serve CILCSA as Board President and I look forward to working with Michael and the rest of the board to help make Springfield the friendliest city in Illinois,” said Nardi who is also the Dual Director of Sales at Ehrhardt Hospitality – Residence Inn & SpringHill Suites in Springfield.
