2021 Kickoff Event

CILCSA’s First In-Person Event in Over a Year Was a Success!

2021 Kickoff Event

Calvin Stovall, ICONIC Presentations

Reviews of CILCSA’s first in-person event…

“I absolutely felt safe.  I thought it was very well put together.  Great event and Calvin was great.  He was really the right person for this event during this period of time.  Our community needs a little energy infusion.”

Jarid Brown, Director of Resource Development
United Way of Central Illinois

“I thought the speaker and event was good this morning.  I was most thrilled to be back in that setting of people gathering!  The speaker had a tough job of breaking the ice with people who haven’t been to an event in over a year and he did a great job.”

Jesse Brock,
Bank of Springfield

A special thank-you…

CILCSA was thrilled to present our first “in-person” session in over a year and we couldn’t have been more excited!  Andrew Bartlett of OOT Box Media filmed the event and created this wonderful video, which really captures the essence of a CILCSA event!

A special thank you to Andrew Bartlett, OOT Box Media,
for putting this incredible video together!

“To the CILCSA Team, you ROCK!  You live and breathe GREAT customer service.  I was greeted by name today from almost every Board member.  That really impressed me and made me feel special.”

The “WOW” Award

Join us in celebrating our newest “WOW” Award Winner, Jeanne Campbell, Administrator of Mill Creek Alzheimer’s Special Care Center!

Jeanne’s nominator, Amy Hood, remarked in her nomination, “Jeanne makes Springfield a happier place where people feel respected, included and welcomed.” She is the true spirit of the “WOW” Award!  Congratulations Jeanne, Springfield is a better place because of YOU!

Stay tuned for our next nomination period opening soon!

Congratulations Jeanne!

“Jeanne makes Springfield a happier place where people feel respected, included, and welcomed.  Jeanne is the administrator of Mill Creek, yet she made us feel like she had all the time in the world to visit, get to know us, get to know my mother, and listen.”

Amy Hood

FT Auditor, Volunteer Event Chair – Springfield Walk to End ALZ

The “WOW” Award is our opportunity to recognize those unsung heroes that lift our spirits and inspire us through their simple or extraordinary acts of kindness or superior customer service.

By recognizing those who make a difference in our lives, we are challenged to think about how we can do the same for others.  It’s often not even what we do, but how we do it.  Together, one personal encounter at time, me can make our Springfield a happier place to be.  A place where people feel respected, included, and welcomed.  A place full of hope and smiles.

If you know a community member who deserves to be recognized for their extraordinary act of kindness or superior customer service, nominate them today!
