Gian Paul Gonzalez, “All In”

CILCSA is excited to present our 2022 National Customer Service Week Keynote Speaker…Author and Internationally Renowned Speaker, Gian Paul Gonzalez!

Gian Paul is widely recognized for inspiring the NY Giants to their most recent Super Bowl victory with the phrase, “All In”.  He has been featured on ESPN as well as Fox News and CNN.  His inspirational talks have made him an internationally renowned speaker for NBA, NFL, English Premiere League, MLS, & Fortune 500 organizations.

Gian Paul Gonzalez was a former NCAA First Team All-American forward from Montclair State University, scoring nearly 1,400 points in his three year career.  He played in the NBA Summer League and was offered professional basketball contracts, yet he turned them down in order to continue his work with at-risk youth.

He is the Founder and Executive Director of Hope & Future, an organization dedicated to using athletics and physical fitness to share a message of hope and striving for excellence in inner-city public schools and juvenile jails.

What is the WOW Award?

The “WOW” Award is our opportunity to recognize those unsung heroes that lift our spirits and inspire us through their simple or extraordinary acts of kindness or superior customer service.  All nominations are presented to CILCSA’s Advisory Committee for a thorough review before a winning nomination is selected by vote.  Winners are recognized, typically at their workplace, with an award delivered personally by members of CILCSA’s Board of Directors.   

By recognizing those who make a difference in our lives, we are challenged to think about how we can do the same for others.  It’s often not even what we do, but how we do it.  Together, one personal encounter at time, me can make our Springfield a happier place to be.  A place where people feel respected, included, and welcomed.

Aaron Davis,
Author and Speaker

On Thursday, May 5, CILCSA was thrilled to present Author and Speaker Aaron Davis.  Aaron is a leading authority and expert on the importance of having a positive attitude and has shared his message with over a million people about how, "It's not WHAT you do; instead, it's HOW you do it!".

As a member of the 1994 National Championship Nebraska Football team and working with numerous corporations & organizations, he understands firsthand what it takes to perform like a champion & experience incredible results both personally & professionally by maintaining a positive attitude!

Aaron is not just a speaker “telling” other companies and individuals how to succeed. He’s a successful business owner; Consultant, and Peak Performance Coach & had roles in start-ups and corporate America. He’s received numerous awards and accolades, and he’s a proud University of Nebraska alumnus earning his degree in Psychology.

Aaron has spoken for some of the top companies and universities, including Farm Bureau, Walmart, ConAgra, USC, Penn State, Texas A & M, and many more!

Aaron delivered in a big way!  While CILCSA Members left this educational session feeling inspired and uplifted, it was a lot of fun too!  

With a ton of energy in his delivery, Aaron shared a positive message with numerous takeaways for members to share with others!

Do It Well. Make It Fun.

Speaker, humorist, and author of four books including, Do it Well. Make it Fun. The Key to Success in Life, Death, and Almost Everything in Between, Ron’s mission is to change the workplace culture so that organizations are more productive, and staff are more content. He was the 2012-2013 president of the National Speakers Association and is a recognized expert on the benefits of humor and laughter.  

ICONIC Framework

Calvin Stovall delivered his ICONIC Framework in a keynote presentation.  Coupled with his 25 years of experience delivering excellence in customer service and high energy, Calvin presented practical examples of businesses being ICONIC in how they deliver customer service.  

The Ten Cent Decision

Laurie Guest is a dynamic customer service keynote speaker, trainer and author.  She discussed customer service, staff development and improving customer engagement.  Laurie blended real-life examples, proven action steps, practical advice and takeaways in her engaging and entertaining keynote address! 

Panel of Experts

A huge thank you goes out to Jim Britton, Chris Butler and Mike Pence for serving as our Panel of Experts.  The discussion, titled “What Keeps You Up at Night?”, covered everything from attracting and keeping good employees to providing good customer service with a lot of good business advice in between. 

Tailgate Party of the Year!

Tons of people turned out for a fun-filled tailgate party at the Route 66 Drive In.  Tailgates were transformed into parties complete with decorations, grills, food and beverages as CILCSA members brought their family and friends to celebrate at the Route 66 Drive In.
